Ferrara Pan - Tropical Chewy Lemonheads & Friends

Think of this candy as a sibling to Lemon, Orange and Appleheads but Tropical flavored and really chewy. I assume this is the same panning process used to produce this candy that's used in the other Ferrara Pan products but you start with a chewy center instead of a harder sugar center. The outside coating is very close in texture to a well known Ferrara Pan favorite, Lemonheads.

As you can see in the picture above, each color has a different flavor on the outside and inside. I'll go through them one at a time to tell you how they taste:

Kiwi Strawberry	Tasted like strawberry most of the time, very little taste of the kiwi
Peach Mango	Good mix of peach and mango, mostly peach - horrible aftertaste
Berry Bannana	Great mix of flavors, tad more berry than bannana w/ a bannana aftertaste
Cherry Watermelon	Tasted like watermelon the entire time, a hint of cherry
Pink Lemonade - Lemonade	Great Lemonade flavor, no surprise there, not a tart lemon, very good taste

This is a great candy for a movie theatre or movie at home. Nice and chewy, great flavors, and a good price. I would have liked a little harder coating on these, but I love the chewy consistency and sugary sweet flavor. The tropical flavors are a nice edition to Ferrara Pan's product line. I also have a review of Ferrara Pan's Orangeheads posted, these are not chewy and are identical to Lemonheads but in an Orange flavor. We took these Tropical Chewies to a movie with us and had them finished in the first few minutes of the movie, which means they were a hit with us. We will definitely buy these again. I especially love the dancing dressed up fruit on the front, reminds me of this video: There's a party in my tummy, so yummy so yummy!
