I cannot resist the Jelly Belly 3 oz. grab and go bags. It's the perfect sized bag of candy to share with friends and family. I do enjoy mellowcreme candy and their mint has such a good flavor. These are about the size of a quarter and about as thick as two quarters stacked on top of each other. It is a great size and gives you the right amount of mint, not too much, not too little. The mint aftertaste is fantastic. I think Jelly Belly should offer these in a roll as breath fresheners.
This is the same mellowcreme Jelly Belly uses in other candy mixes. It has a nice smooth melt, is slightly chewy, and feels dense in texture. The peppermint taste is slightly spicy/hot and has a lasting minty effect on your mouth. I love the spring/Easter colors. They remind me of wedding candy for some reason. I can also imagine putting these in an Easter basket.
I don't think I haven't found a Jelly Belly grab-and-go product I didn't like. At $1.99, a bag is more expensive than a $.79 candy bar, but the 3 of us can easily share a bag like this in the car. Sharing a bag is less expensive and fewer calories than each of us getting our own candy bar and makes for a far higher quality snacking experience.
