I like to be as transparent as possible with my readers. If you send me candy, I will be sure to inform them in my review that the sample was provided by the company.
I only review candy. I'm glad you like my reviews, but beverages, snacks, cookies, brownies, and cake are not candy and will not be reviewed. However, I will review candy-related products, for example, a beverage straw made of licorice or a candy-related toy.
If you say you will send me something to review, please send it. This is a hobby for me and I plan reviews ahead on a calendar. I often like to group 4 or 5 different brands of candy into a series of reviews, and that requires some planning (and the presence of your candy).
Some things to be aware of: a) I might not like your candy. Be ready for a fair review but it is my opinion. Free samples will not sway my opinion. b) It can be 100 degrees with 90% humidity in Iowa in the summer, plan accordingly. c) I reserve the right not to review your candy at all or each of the types that are sent. d) I may give away unopened portions of your sample to my readers.
Feel free to use portions of my review for product promotion, but please give me appropriate credit.
