Jelly Belly has a crazy number of mixes for sale in stores at all times. I found a few new ones at Wal-Mart and could not resist picking one up to add to my jelly bean stash. I picked the Pink Lemonade bag because it's a mixture of lemon and cotton candy Jelly Belly beans, both of which are favorites at our house. The other mixes were Blueberry Muffin, Key Lime Pie and Berry Smoothie.
These were located in the color coded sections next to the Easter candy aisles. Everything in the section was yellow or pink, part of a whole Spring and Easter theme. It was the same for the other Jelly Belly mixes mentioned above.
We loved both flavors in this mix by themselves. But, when you put 2 cotton candy with 1 lemon it really tastes exactly like pink lemonade. The flavor is fantastic. We loved combining the flavors but both flavors are great on their own. It's a win-win situation in my opinion. Whatever comes out of the bag tastes great. We love the flavor of cotton candy and these beans taste almost like the real thing. (At some point, I'll link photos of the cotton candy machine my in-laws bring to all family events.) All that is missing is the great super sugary-sweet stick-to-your-face aspect of cotton candy, but the flavor is perfect. The lemon flavor was amazing on it's own too. Light lemon and tart flavor that reminds you of lemonade, so good.
While you could go to the bulk bins and buy your own mix, I really like how Jelly Belly has packaged this for you already. I'm not sure about you, but when I'm looking at all those amazing bins and trying to figure out what flavors to get, I have such a hard time making up my mind. There are way too many choices and I love ALMOST every flavor Jelly Belly has to offer. This bag is a decent price and makes it very easy to decide what to get. As long as you like all the flavors in the bag, this is a great item to pick up at the store.
